Dear LCC fans and supporters, simply one word to summarize the match for LCC : ‘dissapointing’! Showing a lot of character by inviting VCC, with a very deep batting line up, to bat first and restricting them at a score of 124/10, LCC did execute their plans very well up until the half way. In fact, the start of their chase was as good as it could be, with scoreboard saying 60 for no loss after 7 overs. With quick departure of both openers, the rest of the batting line up collapsed adding just 30 runs. VCC won the match with a huge margin of 34 runs. Congratulations to VCC for an amazing game with ups and downs for both sides. Lots of learnings for LCC for the upcoming game to get their first victory and much needed rhythm for the season.
